This year's impact
Check out our current success!

My 250 articles have reached over 1K subscribed readers, plus over 2K visitors this year.
This is amazing progress, and also, I'd love to expand our audience even more.
Access to funding will allow me to devote more of my time to growing the audience and finding more people to join our community, as well as paying for advertising in queer spaces (newsletters, not Meta ads!) and creating more video for folks who would rather watch than read (it's all good! we all have preferences.)
I know some of you support art and culture regularly.
Biking home past Symphony Hall at night, I admire the well-dressed folks stepping out into the street, still glowing from the performance.
I’ve gained so much from theater. As a teenager, I watched my friend kiss another man on stage. That scene in a play showed me it was okay to be gay, and it changed what I thought was possible for me.
More recently, I loved going to a queer cabaret body-positive drag show, where people had fun tossing dollar bills at the performers while cheering them on.
My newsletter and videos form a different kind of stage, but the message is the same. I am creating art. I am building empathy by sharing stories about being trans, nonbinary, queer, and gay.
If you're reading this, we agree building empathy for LGBTQ+ folks is an important mission. I appreciate you!
I need you to buy your ticket to this show by becoming a Champion of Amplify Respect.
Your support - reader support - is the only source of funding currently for this newsletter and my other media. I truly appreciate those who have contributed already - thank you so much!!
At the current level of support, I'm running this whole publication as a volunteer project, even dipping into my own savings to pay for tech expenses and advertising.
And I'll be honest - while I love the work, sustaining and even growing this project is feeling really challenging unpaid and with a tiny marketing budget.
This is why I'm asking for your help. I need TEN CHAMPIONS to step forward by the end of the year to keep this project going.
