I have a habit of looking around anxiously. I mean, who doesn't? No? Just me? I'm looking up and away right now. But I didn't realize I did this during aikido training until last month.
I learned about this way back when I was trained to be a highschool geography teacher and now I apply this (consciously 😉) at a lot of things. For example I am now learning ceramics, back in school and all and I really enjoy being a newbie again.
I also am learning to say no more often, I find that way more difficult 😅
That's an interesting framework for understanding learning, thank you for sharing! That's really cool that you are learning ceramics. Learning to say no is something I find challenging also!
Sounds like you discovered the four stages of competence!(https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_stages_of_competence )😊
